A's another work.
長らくぶりに、12月14日日曜日に京都で演奏します。
久しぶりのライブでとっても楽しみです！
このイベントは、『昼間に音楽を楽しもう！』というものです。
駅からお店まで少し距離がありますが、聞くと所によると、とても居心地の良い、お食事のおいしいお店だそうです！
美しい嵐山の風景が、きっとお店までの距離を忘れさせてくれる事でしょう。
スタートは13時で、20分ほどのステージを2セットする予定です。
30分に変更になるかもしれない、との事ですが、私達もまだ詳しく分からないので、分かり次第、追ってお知らせします。
今回のこのイベントには、主催者である、素晴らしいピアノ弾きのシンガーソングライター、YUEさんにお誘い頂きました。私達は彼女の曲が大好きです。なので、彼女と競演できる事も、とても楽しみにしています！
そしてそして、もちろん！！皆様にお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！！

We will play in Kyoto on Sunday 12/14.
It's been a quite long time since we have played a gig last time.
So we're very excited!!
This event has a concept of enjoying the day-time music party for anyone.
It's a bit far from the station, but we heard it's a very cozy place and has good meals! And it would be nice to walk through the great view of Arashiyama to the cafe!
It will start from one o'clock, and we'll have 2 sets of 20 minutes stages. Though we're not sure about it yet, it may be changed to 2 sets of 30 minuets stages for each. We'll pronounce it as soon as the schedule gets set.
This event is held by YUE, who is a singer-song writer with a fabulous piano play. We love her songs!! We're also looking forward to sharing the time with her!
And OF COURSE, we'd love to see YOU there!!!

Our gig is drawing near!! It's been quite a long time since we played in public last time.
On Friday 16th, we're gonna play at ARETHA where it's coming to be like our nest to play!
I feel very cozy to play there, and we're always looking forward to playing at this place!!
On next Friday 23rd, we're playing at kind of a new place called LAGUNA BEACH. We've played there once before.
At that time, we played with band, and was not in ATOMO style though.
A friend of us kindly invited us to play in his event. This guy and we often join the open mike event held at RJ.
Well, we hope we could play our new songs!!! And hope to see you there!!!! (tomo)
ライブが近づいて来ました！！久し振りのライブです。
16日の金曜日はARETHAです。ホームグラウンドの様に心地よく演奏させて頂き、毎回とても楽しみにしています。
23日の金曜日は神戸のLAGUNA BEACHです。新境地でありますが、以前に一度演奏した事があります。
でもその時はバンドの方々がついて下さって、いわゆるATOMOスタイルではなっかたのですが。
今回は、ここで定期的にイベントをされていて、RJのセッションデーでよくご一緒する音楽仲間が誘って下さいました。

今までの自分達の曲のを磨き上げるべく、自分達の音への価値観を見つめ直し、
私達なりに色々模索した、今年一号目にふさわしいライブにしたいです。

クリスマスライブが迫ってきた。クリスマスライブといっても、クリスマス時期にするライブというだけで、クリスマスソングをするつもりはない。これは前もって言っておかなければならない。クリスマスソングはしません！ぼくらがクリスマスソングを歌ってもあまりパッとしないのです。決してクリスマスソングが嫌いなわけではありません。それも言っとかないと。クリスマスソングのアレンジを考えるよりも自分達の曲のアレンジを考えなくては・・・。そんな気持ちです。
今日はリハをし、前回来て頂いた方々もバーに遊びに来ておられ、また当日お会い出来る様で、とても楽しみである。がんばろう！皆さん、遊びに来て下さーい！
Our "Christmas gig" is right on the corner. Despite "Christmas gig," it just means we play in the Christmas season, and we don't intend to play Christmas songs. We must announce that in advance. No Christmas songs! Just because we can't make them sound interesting. I am not saying we dislike them. I have to make it clear that, too. We'd better work on arranging our songs rather than on Christmas ones.
We rehearsed tonight, and happened to meet some people who came to our live last time. It's very nice to have them there again on this Christmas event! Come and enjoy together!!

We're going to play at a live cafe called ARETHA next month! We are very happy to play here especially because it's in our town, Toyonaka!! We can go there by bike, and it takes only about 15 miniutes! This place was just born in this September. I fell in love here at the first time we visited. This cafe owed by a very nice couple is so smart, well desighned, and cozy . The first time we went there, they kindly ask us to play. We played 3 songs and had a really fun night!! We really appreciate it. On that day, the master, George and his friend played some old good popular songs. Their voices were so clear and strong. I felt the power of the voices afresh by hearing them. That was beautiful.
And personally, there's another good point, "ARETHA" was named after the great Gospel singer, Aretha Franklin! She's one of my favorites!!! I was so excited when I saw this name on the web!!
Among so many good points, but the best one I felt was the quality of the sound. They have a great sound there. I could sing very very comfortably. The ceiling is very high and that may be one of the factors. They told us how they cared to build this place for music. That's really great! They also serve good foods and hospitalities! We talked a lot, but I wanted to more!! We are going to play here Sunday on November 25th. Come and see how wonderful here with your own eyes!!! (tomo)
ＡＲＥＴＨＡというライブブカフェで来月演奏します。ここでさせて頂くのは感激ひとしお、何故ならここは私達の住む町、豊中にあるのです！自転車でおよそたった15分！9月にオープンされたばかりのお店です。一目見て私はここがとても気に入りました。とても素敵なお二人が経営されているこのカフェは、とてもお洒落で居心地が良いです。初めて行った時、彼らは親切にも私達に演奏させて下さいました。3曲演奏し、とても楽しい夜でした！感謝です。その日はマスターのジョージさんがお友達とお二人で、古き良きポップスを演奏されていました。彼らの声は透明感があり力強く、改めて声の持つ力を感じさせられました。美しかったです。
そしてもう一つ、私個人的に感激したのがお店の名前。「ＡＲＥＴＨＡ」とは偉大なるゴスペルシンガー、Arethe Franklinから取ったとの事。私の大好きなシンガーの一人で、webでお店の名前を見た時から興奮していました。
たくさんの素晴らしい面々の中でも、一番はやはり、その素晴らしい音響です。物凄い良いです。本当に心地よく歌わせて頂きました。お店の天井は高く、それも要因の一つなのかな？音にはとてもこだわって設計されたとおっしゃっていました。素晴らしいです。食事もおいしく、お二人が温かく迎えて下さいます。私達もたくさんお話したのですが、まだまだお話したかった！11月25日の日曜日に演奏させて頂きます。是非いらして、ここの素晴らしさを体感して下さいね！！ (tomo)
We rehearsed at La Pura Vida for the gig on 25th. The engineer, Mr. Bando will kindly help us to set our sound better. We played about for 2hrs there..... Was that a rehearsal?? 25日のライブのリハーサルに、プラビダに行って来ました。エンジニアのバンドウ氏が、私達の音出しを手伝ってくださいます。私達はおよそ2時間演奏してきました･･･。リハーサルだったのか・・・？？私達の練習タイムでした。マスターとバンドウ氏、どうもありがとうございました。今回は良い写真がありませんが･･･。 (tomo)
We are going to play at the bar called "La Pura Vida" in Kyobashi, Osaka on August 25th. While "A" was in the U.S., I played there sometime with my friends (piano and percussions). When almost a year past since we started ATOMO here in Japan, we called on this bar to say hi to MAMA! Then kindly, she offered us to play there again. She is a sweet and nice woman with open mind and loves everything for fun! Also she has a good cook there! His disshes are no doubt to let your mouth water!! And they have plenty kinds of beers and liquors from all over the world!! Foreigners sometimes come to this bar and have fun talking. Well, this is a very nice bar indeed! We are going to start from 21:00, and play some stages through the night!! (The bar openes at 18:00 to 3:00)Just come over and have some fun together!!! (tomo)
8月の25日に京橋にある『La Pura Vida(ラ・プラビダ）』というバーで演奏させて頂きます。ここは、「A」がアメリカにいる間、何度か私が友達と演奏をさせてもらったバーです。（ピアノとパーカッションで）
私達ATOMOも日本で本格活動を再開してもうすぐ一年。ママにお知らせを兼ね、遊びに行った事でこの企画が立ち上がりました。ママはきさくで、楽しい事が大好きな、優しくて素敵な方です。ここのシェフの料理の腕も素晴らしいです。よだれものです。世界中のビールやお酒も置いておられます。外国の方もたまに来られておしゃべりを楽しんだりしていらっしゃいます。とにかく素敵なバーです。
私達は21時スタートで、何ステージかを夜中までしています。（お店は18時から3時までやっています）
遊びに来て下さい、一緒に楽しい夜を過ごしましょう！！ (tomo)

気さくなスタッフが集まる素敵なバー、Happy Lauraにて、
来る3月23日、「La フライデー」というアコースティック対バンデーに参加させて頂きます。
ここも月に一度、「バラードな夜」という、参加自由のイベントをされていて、
何度かそこにお邪魔させて頂いています。
月曜日である為、毎回参加するのが難しいのが残念です。
ここのスタッフの方も、そしてそこに集まるお客さんやミュージシャンの方達も、
皆さん本当に良い人たちばかりです！
少し前だったので、ここでお知らせするタイミングがなく、
昨夜がその「バラードな夜」の日だったので、この時に！と思いきや、
時間が合わず、参加できませんでした。
なのでここに、お知らせだけさせて頂きます。

暖かい雰囲気のライブバーで、心地良い時間を過ごして頂けると思います。
